Capture spectacular ‘in flight’ images of these majestic birds at eye-level as they swoop only a feathers breadth above our heads, plus get up close and personal for some stunning stationary shots of these beautiful predators.
Richard James, the legendary falconer, will be flying up to six different species of birds of prey for us.
Tuition: During the workshop, which lasts 4 hours, I’ll be advising you on camera settings, shooting techniques and positions for getting the best and most creative shots of these birds. There will be ample time to practice your technique and master the skills needed to capture birds in flight. For examples of images from my previous workshops please see my website here.
A maximum of 8 places are available for each workshop to ensure all participants benefit from my personal support and tuition during the day.
All workshops start at 10am and finish at 2pm. We have a short break for lunch which will be provided, but you may wish to bring a flask of tea, coffee or soup.
Equipment: Any DSLR camera will be suitable and even when these birds are in flight we are still going to be only a few feet away from them so almost any lens will be appropriate. If in doubt drop me a line.
