Your photographic talent speaks for itself Drew, but only your pupils can speak for your talents as a tutor. Having attended your beginners course I have nothing but praise, thank you. Your 12 week course was extremely well structured and from day 1 we were encouraged to get out and take photos away from auto using the manual settings on the camera shooting in RAW. Backed by your illustrated notes, homework and constructive feedback I now have the confidence and the passion to want go out and better every shot I take. Your passion and enthusiasm is infectious and the support and encouragement you have offered throughout the course has been tremendous. The introductory session in Photoshop you incorporated into this course has been invaluable and I’m thrilled that I now have a place secured on your next Photoshop course. I wholeheartedly recommend this course to anyone. Thank you so much for opening my eyes to the wonderful world of photography Drew!

Drew's photographic course was logically laid out and relaxed and inspiring. His passion for photography was in everything he taught us. His welcoming and positive style really encourages you to get to grips with the all aspects of a digital SLR camera.
Gordon Horgarth - Nottinghamshire
My great passion for Photography started when I was 17 years old when I purchased my first film camera. This passion existed alongside my passion for the arts; painting and writing.
I could claim that photography became another form of expressing my view of the world, but that wouldn't be true - I just like taking photographs. My style is to look for the slightly unconventional wherever possible. In becoming a ‘freelance photographer’ I am free to pursue whichever photographic styles and subjects excite and inspire me.
Due to my background this has resulted in the inevitable gravitation toward ‘action sport’. And by 'action' I mean those sporting events that require athleticism and bravery, skill and determination. So, you are more likely to find me photographing an Iron Man Triathlon than a World Darts competition and the Burghley Horse Trials than Snooker at the Crucible.
The partnership between animal and human in sporting endeavor has always inspired me. The mutual trust that needs to coexist, and the shared courage and fearless determination that is displayed at ever fence is compelling.
You’ll find galleries on my website here covering a broad range of subjects and you will find an ever growing number of horse related galleries. All my pictures (at least I think all) are for sale and particularly those from the various Horse related sporting events. Hopefully you’ll have met me at an event and got a business card which has brought you here and you are most welcome. If you and your horse (or animal) are featured (or you and your Huskies) in one of these galleries please drop me a line and let me know.
You can purchase images from me of various types. The sports images are FREE is you want the displayed 'thumbnail' which is a Web size image and will look great on Facebook or other social media but won't be of high enough resolution to print from. If you want high resolution images sent to you on CD then please email me to discuss this and for prices. I also produce framed prints and canvasses so feel free to ask me for prices on these too.
In recent times I have been asked to shoot portfolio sessions of Horse and Rider, either at the yard in which the horse is kept or at the rider's home with the horse. Such portfolio sessions produce fantastic results, ones that the rider will treasure a lifetime.
If you would like to discuss a portfolio session or you wish to hire me to shoot a sporting event , or you want to join one of my Photographic Courses, please contact me using my email address; firstname.lastname@example.org .
